Serenade, Op 80 for flute and string orchestra

Salomon Jadassohn was on the faculty of the Leipsig Conservatory. He was a student of Liszt and a colleague of Carl Reinecke. His music is not well known, but it is certainly well written. This Serenade was first composed for six players, but later revised for Flute and String Orchestra.
