Ludwig introduced this 6 lug “All Around Model” in 1929 to bridge the gap between their high end drums and the budget models they offered. This drum is made with a one piece brass shell. It’s in fantastic condition for a drum that is nearly a century old. The hardware is all original and in great working order and there is only very minimal aging on the nickel plating. The original silk-wire snares were replaced long ago with a set of 1930s all-metal Ludwig Snappi-Snares as shown. Most importantly, the drum tunes up easily and sounds terrific!
