Description Georg Breuer Sans Riesling is a zero alcohol Riesling from one of the Rheingau’s most respected family estates, made with the same care and intention as their full-strength range. Delicate and precise on the nose, with lemon and white peach aromatics that are immediately recognisable as Riesling at its most classic. The palate is seductive and well-balanced, with a natural acidity giving it the liveliness and tension that so many zero alcohol wines fail to achieve. Pairs well with white fish and fresh cheeses, or simply as a thoughtful and elegant alternative at the table. Georg Breuer was founded in 1880 and has been in the hands of Theresa Breuer since 2004, when she took over from her father Bernhard at just eighteen years old. The estate farms organically across 33 hectares in the Rheingau, with yields carefully restricted and fermentation carried out with wild yeast before extended lees ageing. Fruit is sourced from village-level vineyards on quartzite, slate, and loamy gravel soils, south-facing and protected by the Taunus mountain range. Dealcoholisation is achieved through the spinning cone process, which uses centrifugal distillation under vacuum to gently remove volatile aromas and then alcohol before reintroducing the aromas, preserving as much of the wine’s original character as possible. 0% / 75cl
